Fundraising FAQs

We are always so excited to welcome new volunteers to Hope Rescue and while we don't have any vacancies to volunteer at the rescue centre, we have plenty of opportunities on the fundraising and shop team. Whether you like to be out and about, meeting people in the community or prefer to spend your free time helping with admin projects, we have something for everyone!

Gift Aid is a scheme which allows us to claim 25p for every £1 you give. It's a simple and effective way of giving to charity and allows us to reclaim donations if you are a UK taxpayer. If you use a fundraising page like JustGiving then your supporters can select Gift Aid on their donation. If you are using our donation forms then your sponsors will need to fill in the details on the form and tick the Gift Aid box so we can get in touch.

Yes, we can provide you with fundraising materials to help with your fundraising efforts. We recommend that you spread the word to friends, family and colleagues, and share on social media - don't forget to tag us! We have a fundraising page on Facebook which is a great place to share your fundraiser.

You can pay it in online, by post, over the phone, or in-person.

- If you would like to pay the money in by post, then send a cheque made payable to Hope Rescue and send it to our address: Hope Rescue, Cyllan Lodge, Old Llanharry Rd, Llanharan, CF72 9NH. Don't forget to include a cover note.

- You can drop you money off at our rescue centre or one of our 6 charity shops.
