Volunteer at Barking Mad 2026

Our biggest outdoor event of the year is back and we need your help

Barking Mad is our much loved dog show and family fun day and it's back. Volunteers are such a vital part of Hope Rescue and we couldn't deliver these fundraising events without kind people like you.

What you'll be doing on the day

We will have lots going on on the day and we want you to enjoy it and get the most out of the event. Whether you help run a stall such as registration or Handmade by Hope, supervise the carpark, support the dog show by sorting prizes, and much more.

Other information

Barking Mad is on Saturday 22nd August 2026 and we ask that volunteers arrive at 9am ahead of the event opening at 11am for registration. The show will finish at around 3pm when we announce best in show (we aim to run to programme schedule but this can change if classes overrun). If you are not available for the whole day but still want to volunteer, then get in touch with us to discuss further.

Volunteers need to be 18 or over.
